You might not break any bones, but spinal/brain damage is almost guaranteed from an ejection. To the point pilots still die because they’re scared to eject and end up running out of time.
It’s literally a rocket that shoots you straight up, then after you start falling the chute gives another jolt.
20-30% of the time it fractures the pilots spine.
