    This is a time-honored tradition of all young trick-or-treaters. Not even Christmas lets you see this much candy in one place at one time. It must be measured to truly appreciate it.

        one of the best parts of all of my cousins and kids of family friends’ getting together and coming back to the house after our haul was to take inventory and trade

          I never liked candy (other than gummies). Seemingly unrelatedly, my older brother and I were never close.

          As a kid, I always appreciated the apparent good will I got from giving him all my non-gummi candy on Halloween.

      I wonder what the cash value of that is. I’m guessing at least $50 worth of candy there right?
