For added entertainment, they sometimes Don’t Get It and what they say is “subtle” is, in fact, right in your face.

e.g. they say Monster Hunter Wilds is “subtly pro-climate action” which is like saying a tungsten cube is “slightly hefty” or Life Is Strange is “a little bit gay”

    Wall-E game review:

    Has obvious pro-environmentalist and anti-consumerist themes (hypocritical). Robots have arbitrarily coded gender with the “female” shown to be more “advanced.”

    This has to be a parody… right?

      Poe’s Law suggests that there is literally no way to know. The Steam discussions (I strongly suggest you do not venture into them) suggest a roughly 50/50 split.
