A president steeped in constitutional lore might have been offended by claims he’s acting as a king.

But Donald Trump and his entourage responded with mockery to weekend “No Kings” protests by millions of Americans — embracing the narrative in a way that explains his growing hubris and belief that he has unchecked power.

That was never the point. The point is that even the media noticed this. The same media which seem to be in sleepwalk mode all those months. Heck, even inside Fox “News” the support is crumbling.

He’s far from the first major political figure to express disdain for voters they don’t agree with. Presidents Barack Obama and Joe Biden, as well as 2016 Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton, all had their moments.

Fuck CNN and this both-sides equivocation bullshit.

The way Trump speaks about and has always spoken about his opponents is beyond the pale. There’s no comparison to anything that any other major politician in America has ever said. His brand of incivility is unprecedented, dangerous, and shouldn’t be normalized.

Moreover, Democrats seem to have done little self-reflection over whether their aggressive push to implement their progressive values alienated more conservative Americans and contributed to their own defeat in 2024.

      Fucking yiiiikes.

Trump: “I’m not a King! I’m totally not a King!”

< posts a video of himself wearing a crown, flying a jet and dumping tons of diarrhea on the “peasants.” >

    No, Donald. You’re definitely not a king. You’re a 4chan sh*tposter.

I don’t see him popping open his laptop and producing an AI video. This was done by and approved by handlers. And not the smart ones.

I think he posts clearly ai videos by design. The other day that Chuck Schumer ai video looked legit. Trump posts videos easily vetted as ai, so his base believes that’s what ai looks like. Oversaturated, unnatural, glitched, etc. Now when another branch of the govt posts an ai vid as good as the Schumer one, his base believe its real. “I know what ai looks like, Trump posts funny ai stuff all the time. This didn’t looks at all like that so it can’t be ai”.

While I don’t doubt plenty in his administration would think of that, I have trouble seeing him thinking that far ahead.

Could definitely be getting fed AI videos with the hope of him reposting them for that reason, though.

I think we need to accept the government wont come back from the shut down and Trump’s gonna have his picks on a private payroll and occupying government offices and positions in a new trumpistocracy. ICE will be moved into Pearl Harbor and Fort Bragg. Jan6 pedostache will be ur kids new teacher. Like a fucked up hermit crab that kills the owner of its new shell. It’s a full on coup going on as we speak right now.

Lmao that would mean they have to restructure and actually run something from the ground up. Trump’s only talent is running stable situations into the ground. He bankrupted a casino. A casino. His version of fascism is about to fall on its face.

The people pulling the strings are also stupid as fuck, just not borderline braindead like Trump. The only reason the fascists of the 1920s and 1940s were as stable as they were was because they got the nobility on their side, nobility who were on average well educated and generally functional. This modern crop are all dumber than shit and could probably be out thought by a sleep deprived high schooler running on caffeine and spite. The only reason they have made it this far is because the old guard who set them up to succeed did relatively well, but most of the old guard or dead or dying so what your left with is their braindead kids who would probably drink rubbing alcohol if they didn’t have ketamine.

I’m sorry, but what the fuck? What is this bullshit line supposed to do, beyond French kiss trump? I’m guessing it’s just sheer coincidence that they’re naming all Democrat politicians here? None of them even remotely behaved like the Cheeto does on a dialy basis

If you look between the lines of a lot of CNN articles/headlines, they are straight up pro-trump, at least insofar as not writing anything the admin would consider filing a lawsuit over.
