No, seriously, what shows has this issue ruined? By that I mean something that would have been good and enjoyable, but a character being retconned or progressively written to be gay or whatever was the thing that turned it bad for you. Shit writing is shit writing, and 7 of 9 not being straight isn’t what made Picard a bad show. What show was bad specifically because of this issue?
