She’s literally part of the organizations that should be taking action. It’s not supposed to be our job. Senators and representatives are the ones paid to be the checks and balances. The bar has been set so low now that someone in the government saying what is going on is wrong is seen as a win. The bar is buried underground at this point.

We are the managers. And, well, we’ve been pretty slack.

I didn’t mean “be careful” as in “don’t say these things,” I agree with you -she should DEFINITELY say these things. I mean “be careful” as in “don’t walk to your car unattended, answer the door without checking, talk to police, or take any meetings with someone you don’t know.” - that sort of careful.

It’s not supposed to be our job.

Too much buck pushing in the good ol USA. It is, in fact, our civic duty to be active citizens that hold our elected representatives accountable. Our continual evasion of this responsibility is a large part of what landed us here.

It wouldn’t surprise me to learn that a large portion of the “not our job” folks were the same ones wholly blaming the Russian people for not hanging Putin in the town square.

We’ve lost all sense of duty and honor in favor of the almighty dollar in this country. Yes, our representatives should be holding Trump accountable, but we the people voted his tired, rapist ass back into office.
