The Pentagon has summoned military officials from around the world for a gathering in Virginia. Even top generals and their staffs don’t know the reason for the meeting.

    Smells like a purge.

The kind where they’ll call names, take them outside, and summarily execute them for some invented treason.

I mean… the US military is supposed to be anti fascist, and if you’re a general you’ve been there longer than just trumps term, so really they are all anti fascists.

Antifa is a terrorist organization now, so he’ll round em all up, charge them with treason, and install new generals who’ve never served in the military before.

The military swears an oath to the constitution, not the president or any man. Which is what my air force friends have been telling me - don’t worry, the forces won’t go fascist. Trump apparently came to the same conclusion and is reducing their forces while he massively ramps up ICE, his new domestic army that DOES swear allegiance to him.

Which seems like it has implications but I’m no analyst.

I mean, there’s funding, sure. But I’d put my money on a marine with nothing but flipflops and his privately owned rifle over a ICE goon any day.

Every org is going to have extremists, but you are talking about a former military member that was discharged with a less than honorable discharge, who then committed and was sentenced for murder.

What do you think the AFB should have done here?

And he was discharged, tried for murder and sentenced to over 40 years in jail.

What do you think should have been done by the military unit that would have made this better?

I mean, I take giving someone a less than honorable discharge so they can stand trial in a civilian court where they got a forty year sentence as more than “Jack shit”…
