Usually, when people talk about Cascadia as a country, they include British Columbia.
God we have trouble enough with Toronto thinking it’s the centre of the world and ignoring BC. We’d have zero influence in Cascadia.
Technically, only a small section of California is part of the Cascadian region. But so is most of Idaho… And I think just about everybody would be happier if we made that trade.
