That said, hearing his quote in full context, I interpreted that as he doesn’t feel he is doing well in terms of honorable/benevolent deeds or accomplishments. I may be wrong, I guess you could hear it either way, but that’s the impression I got.

Aren’t many overweight 85 year olds around.
It would be interesting to see some stats on life expectancy for someone his age and weight.
I wouldn’t be suprised if it’s something like 20% chance of dying in the next 12 months, then if he’s still alive in 1 year a 30% chance of dying in the following 12 months, then 40% and so on. The chances of him making 90 are infinitessimal.
So yeah, any commentary is conjecture, but it’s not just noise.
