My favorite story about Kaczyński is that like 20 years ago they tried to humanize him and finally get him married. He’s an old bachelor so he wasn’t very convincing talking about traditional family values. So they found this lady in his party and started pushing stories about them like how he was nice to her when she was elected for the first time, how he bought her flowers and so on. And then some tabloid took pictures of her spending the evening with some dude, him giving her red roses, them dancing in the streets and disappearing into her hotel with a bottle of wine. Turns out the guy was a priest. She claimed he was just an old friend but the whole “she and Kaczyński would be such a nice couple” topic was dropped and Kaczyński is still an old bachelor.
