Not surprised. Same friend waited over a year once for a different tax stamp. Can’t imagine why other than intentional slow rolling.

Last year! Sounds like it’s changed since then.

I mean, purely anecdotal, but I had a close friend who had to do the process and it took over six months of waiting. Not difficult I guess, but it did take a long time…

You can’t easily buy one. You need a tax stamp and that’s a bit of a process. But you can buy one.
Jesus H Christ, the number of not Dull posts on here is egregious /s
That looks fantastic!
If you’re cutting really dense or thick boards, like you said melamine, then you’ll want to find a way to “attach” the saw legs to the floor. That style of table saw WILL move when you are pushing baords through it.
Stay safe brother, have fun rippin!
I actually prefer the circular saw + jig combo for heavier/denser boards.

I think it’s ok for women to be allowed to ask men or at the gym purely based on the reason why it’s not ok for men to ask.
An estimated 91% of victims of rape & sexual assault are female and 9% male. Nearly 99% of perpetrators are male. (1) This US Dept. of Justice statistic does not report those who do not identify in these gender boxes.

Men commit the preponderance of sexual violence/harassment by a long shot.
It’s become the norm for men to leave women alone in less-than-social spaces because it provides a more welcoming environment. Which is a huge cultural improvement IMO. The other way around though is fine. I don’t think most men are expecting to be sexually harassed/abused by women in those same spaces.
Not saying it couldn’t happen, because it does, but it’s SOOOOO MUCH less likely.

Clippy coding! Newer coders won’t get the reference, older coders can hold it with the same scorn.

How’s the air up there?
It’s pretty easy to find, but JK Rowling is a TERF. She actively contributes money to anti-Trans efforts and is unapologetic about any of it.

Here’s an article from a ways back.
I can’t tell if you’re joking… With the copy paste of your comment…
Anti-BDS law states are what the OP post seemingly shows. But the headline in OPs post doesn’t say that, it says government contracts, which is a more specific case of anti-bds law.
Gov contract does not equal Investment? The Colorado law is specifically about their state pension called PERA ans how that pension is invested.
While I don’t support the law, it only restricts how that pension is invested. It has nothing to do with a companies ability to get a state contract for work.
This is misleading. Colorado doesn’t have a law restricting government contracts with companies boycotting Israel. It DOES have a law preventing the state pension from investing in companies that boycott Israel though.
This is probably more accurately a map of states with Anti-BDS laws supporting Israel.

Totally, which puts us at 28%.
Gotta stop with the 40% nonsense. It’s misleading. Americans are BAD AT VOTING. 40% of voters in 2024 support Trump. Not 40% of Americans. If I take wikipedias lower end estimate of 342mil people, and divide Trumps number of votes by that, I get 22.6%.
Still super shitty, but not 40.
Sounds like you live in a black and white world. Sorry, the world is not as easy as you’d like.
Trying to claim that all people who work in tech are in on sinister plots for Big Tech is cartoon-level oversimplification.
