Honestly I just kinda want to dunk on you, but I could absolutely imagine that “Ask AI to make a whole new website every time you want to have a website for something instead of going to an existing one” will be one of those completely stupid things that people will be doing with it. Maybe they’ll even get to a point where they invent some kind of way to deterministically style those websites the AI makes with your favourite colors every time, so that you’ll always have a familiar looking interface. Maybe you could even apply those styles in some sort of cascading manner, like if you only want to style specific parts. AI should really get onto that, I bet it’s the next big thing.

I lowkey do want to work like that, but it has to be on my own terms. Because Fast paced and high pressure works much much better with my brain than infinite meetings + horribly convoluted bureaucratic hoops to jump through to work productivly + nothing gets done + there’s still high pressure because people are frustrated about it.

+1 for purelymail. 10$ a year unless you’re a crazy big user, bring your own domain and everything just works. Been on there for over a year and had absolutely zero issues so far. Plus the 10$ isn’t even per user or per domain, it’s just per admin login. There’s like 6 different addresses on my account, which my husband and his mom have been using too. It’s crazy good value.

Nah, it was just second hand. It was built in 2011 and I bought it in 2023. Its original sticker price would have been like 2.5k, ebikes were pretty expensive at the time. The original owner actually bought the bike for his wife, who passed away around 2012. So it was barely used and he was very diligent about storing it properly. When I got my 2 years of usage out of it and the batteries started lasting less than 10km each I gave it away for free to a University student (that range is still plenty for small grocery trips). As far as I know, she’s still riding it to this day.

The first ebike I bought was 200€. You’re telling me two tanks of gas would cost more than my entire main mode of transportation did for the two years or so I used it daily (tbf, I had it maintenanced once for 50€)
