Is the M1 not considered a freeway? I’ve never driven in the UK, only trains everywhere.

Mostly because there are many different roles that apply to “front line troops.” The traits that work great for running ammo boxes all day are different from the traits to carry a 200 pound dude a few hundred feet. The traits to shoot accurately are different from the traits to assemble and deploy explosives. The traits to drive a tank are different from the traits to work the comms.
More importantly, though, is that this isn’t JUST choosing one set of standards. This will absolutely be “choosing one set of standards with very high bars in certain categories.” There are things women just do not do as well as men, and we all know those will be areas that are emphasized and with difficult to reach goals. There are things women do better than men, and we all know those areas will be de-emphasized with very easy to reach goals.
Why was a school bus going 68mph? Especially in the UK where much less time is spent on freeways.
This seems a bit odd.
A) Nobody knows where or when this crash happened, which supposedly involved a school bus hitting her at 110km/hour? I feel like that would make some news.
B) It’s an Instagram post with only a single picture that looks… questionable??
I’m wondering if she is trying to disappear after threats were made to her. Or maybe this is a real thing that didn’t make the news because the royals were involved and had it hidden.
It was fucking stupid to choose Max over HBO in the branding in the first place.
France appears to be learning the incorrect lesson from Trump’s stupidity.
Sure, by all means build separation from the US as an unreliable partner. But maybe choose your next partner a little more wisely.
Based on my image search engineering, the answer to your question is 2.
Based on my one semester of air breathing propulsion that I took 25 years ago, I’m guessing there is more going on inside the turbine part of the engine that both allows sustainable fuels that current turbofans can’t and also allows compression ratios at lower fan speeds that allows an open fan with fewer blades. Again, I barely passed air breathing propulsion back then and haven’t used ANY of that knowledge since, so I’m mostly talking out of my ass.
It feels so gross upvoting a picture and quote from Reagan.
So the fact that after 50 million miles of driving there have been no pedestrian or cyclist deaths means they are unbelievably unsafe for pedestrians and cyclists? As far as I can tell, the only accidents involving pedestrians or cyclists AT ALL after 50 million miles is when a Waymo struck a plastic crate that careened into another lane where a scooter ran into it. And yet in your mind they are unbelievably unsafe?
“Waymo reports the statistical data it has, which happens to be pretty good.”
“Stop! Police!” *instantly shoots 17 times
Why even yell at that point? If you are so afraid he might shoot someone, then stay behind cover and yell that police are present and to drop the gun. When you startle a person with a gun, there can be pretty predictable responses. If you aren’t afraid he might shoot someone, then why instantly shoot 17 times without giving him time to comply?
Maybe he should learn from Joshua: the only way to win is to not play at all. Trump should just quit and ride off into the sunset… likely on a private plane filled with underage sex slaves.
The Attorney General shall likewise prioritize enforcement of 31 U.S.C. 1352, which prohibits lobbying by organizations or entities that have received any Federal funds.
This is a WILD interpretation of 31 U.S.C. 1352 by whomever wrote this report. 31 U.S.C. 1352 is about using federal funds to influence contracting, not lobbying.
Here is the text: (1) None of the funds appropriated by any Act may be expended by the recipient of a Federal contract, grant, loan, or cooperative agreement to pay any person for influencing or attempting to influence an officer or employee of any agency, a Member of Congress, an officer or employee of Congress, or an employee of a Member of Congress in connection with any Federal action described in paragraph (2) of this subsection.
(2) The prohibition in paragraph (1) of this subsection applies with respect to the following Federal actions:
(A) The awarding of any Federal contract.
(B) The making of any Federal grant.
© The making of any Federal loan.
(D) The entering into of any cooperative agreement.
(E) The extension, continuation, renewal, amendment, or modification of any Federal contract, grant, loan, or cooperative agreement.
States’ Rights is soooo last century.
Who cares now? It’s only 2.5 months in, and so much PERMANENT damage has already been done. Nobody will ever trust the US again. The only time his approval ratings will matter is if he tries to declare himself President or push through allowing him to run for a 3rd term.
His ratings could be 0% with every demographic, and the Republicans MIGHT vote to impeach him… maybe. And maybe his ratings might matter a little in TWO YEARS during mid-term elections. But that is two more years of him looting and pillaging and destroying the country.
I don’t think the government should have ANY, regardless of how the government purchased the fake assets. It’s a fucking terrible idea for exactly the reason you described. The government should not be involved in such a high risk, unsecured, volatile, ridiculously easily stolen venture.
I know you are just making a joke, but Cybertrucks have way too much actual power. They have between 600 and 850 horsepower and a 0-60 time of 2.6 seconds. The problem is they weigh 11,000 pounds, so it’s hard to stop or turn them once they get going.
I thought that was North Dakota during the pipeline protests by Native Americans when they were shutting down highways.
The only bad genocide is our genocide.
