You don’t have to be gay to like anal play, and to start the article with that statement is more likely to make those that are not gay, or maybe even questioning their sexuality feel shame. You could have simply left out “gay” from your sentence altogether and it would have been fine and still a reasonable statement to make, but by having “gay” as part of that sentence implies that if you’re not gay, sexual exploration is not for you- or even that if you do like anal play you must be gay.
