Which are the regular spetzle? I only knew about the green ones from Alto Adige / South Tyrol, with speck cream and butter

If they use SEPA, it’s settled instantly.
In Europe there’s a system called SEPA, which is a network that allows instant transfer of funds. Right now, by law, banks are required to allow consumers to use SEPA at the same conditions as the regular old bank transfer, which means I could send you money right now for free and you could receive it instantly anywhere in the EU.
The technology exists. Banks just have no incentive on implementing it

Try putting those red onion in water and vinegar (with a pinch of salt and sugar). They’ll become a deep red/purple and loose all acidity, gaining a sweet and vinegary taste. You can keep them in there for quite a long time too if done correctly

politics @lemmy.world•Donald Trump Has NOT Won a Majority of the Votes Cast for President
1·2 years agoYou can do it in a multitude of ways. The French for instance elect their president by voting twice, the first time they vote for their favorite candidate (and the parliament), the second time they vote for either of the two candidates that got the most votes (a run off)
There are other ways, like ranked voting, or you could look up parliamentary republics for an alternative form of government.
Read up on what happens in the rest of the world, at this point, we, as a human species, have tried pretty much everything

No Stupid Questions@lemmy.world•Why all of a sudden tech companies are not being favorable to their users?
1·3 years agoI think it’s a consequence of higher interest rates drying up VC money, meaning that tech companies now have to actually be profitable, rather than just grow.
If the plan was grow now, profit later, then later has come
