Pure nut butters have done fine for me out of fridge. Not sure about when extra ingredients are added.
I guess it -would- cut down on longevity though, as oils go rancid over time. So I would think refrigeration does help, there?

Like nut butters, I’ve even found that modern formulations of mayo and salad dressings don’t actually need to be refrigerated.
I had trouble seeing this one, but found a higher-res version here:
Classic Deathbulge. I miss it.

With Felayra, you should be able to tell right away. There’s a bunch of stories online.
With Subnormality, it would take more familiarity. The signature monster there is a female sphinx that appears regularly.

Both of the ones I mentioned involve huge, female monsters who sometimes have friendly relations with much-smaller humans. Outside of such relations, the monsters will commonly devour or slaughter most other humans.
This one here gave me strong vibes of that.

Looks kinda like a greatly scaled-down fork of Subnormality to me.
Or “Felarya” (sp?), that erotic comic.

Right…?

Interesting!
I loved this show in the 70’s. Bonus pts for Morgan Freeman:

Lol… you could not have beautifully emphasized what I already said, even if you’d fallen backwards in to a huge pile of Angel droppings.
Well, done, matey! :D

Great point, and fully accurate, I believe.
IIRC, “Clay” was taking after a manga at some point…

Sorry, what…?

That’s what I remember, too. It’s indeed dark as the abyss in that way.
Also, it’s been like 20yrs.
As someone who could technically be a grandfather now, I worry about this stuff. Like-- it’s hilarious on the one hand, but also nothing I’d want to see younger gen doing.
I’m probably a total idiot for sharing it, but I guess we’ll see.

He plays around with a lot of sexual themes and topics. Maybe it’s not always ‘ultimately accurate,’ but I find it fun and interesting for the most part, or… sometimes a bit gross and unnecessary.
And that was ~20yrs ago!! I had no idea he’d started this up again!!

Well, I don’t know what you’re doing with that spinach over there, but yeah, makes sense to me. We have a natural bias towards the familiar & repulsion towards the unfamiliar, even in trivially-important matters, no doubt much like other advanced life on the planet. #2 on Maslow’s Hierarchy, I guess.

I’m pretty sure they meant it as a colloquial, not a strict mathematical expression.

Well, there’s reasonable animal fear in terms of dangers and potential dangers, but when you’re talking about products? I’d think that curiosity is more common in such scenarios. Then again, maybe I’m once again overestimating sapiens.
Not IME. Lots of stuff can last weeks or months on the counter, no problem.
Another one would be honey. It’s essentially viscous enough such that no bacteria, mold or fungi have a chance to grow on it. Another one would be Jamaican jerk seasoning in the bottle. It’s so low-moisture and salty that it doesn’t need refrigeration, except perhaps in very hot months.
Now if you’re talking fresh-made mayo from scratch? Yeah, I’d get that in the fridge, stat.
