The other day I asked an llm to create a partial number chart to help my son learn what numbers are next to each other. If I instructed it to do this using very detailed instructions it failed miserably every time. And sometimes when I even told it to correct specific things about its answer it still basically ignored me. The only way I could get it to do what I wanted consistently was to break the instructions down into small steps and tell it to show me its pr.ogress.

I’d be very interested to learn it’s “thought process” in each of those scenarios.

It’s not like they needed us to fumble in order to take the trophy, but all the same we didn’t need to just hand them the ball and walk away.

They should, but probably won’t, lend the trademark to a gay activist group.

You don’t get change, real change, without a following. Even if it’s “for show” this is getting a lot of attention. The Republican base is probably not going to come around until they actual lose their jobs or see businesses they care about shuttered, if even that gets them out of their trance, but the people that think this is just a repeat of Trump’s first term need to get hammered with all the bullshit that’s going on. Day to day I really wouldn’t know that anything sinister is happening in DC. By the time it finally comes around the DOE might already be repurposed as a Tesla factory or the CDC turned into a reform center for wayward youths and totally not a front for sex trafficking.
