  • As an alternative to points being issued, offensive drivers should be given a bike with gps, and an ankle bracelet and they should have to complete at least 1 month of of cycling (not electric either). The bracelet and bike gps dont have same data… you get the fine. Bike gets stolen… you get the fine. Someone crashes into you and bike broken… you buy a new bike. You get bones broken and cant go to work, you buy a new bike and get the points. Just like real cyclists.
Also using phone while driving, even stopped should be an instant ban. If you’re too fucking stupid to use bluetooth or voice assistant, you probably shouldn’t be driving a car.

  • Yeah this is made by some american bootlicker. We are more united than ever so they can go sow division in their own shit hole country. You know what president Von Der Leyen didnt do this week - she didnt threaten to take control of elections, she didnt make a new website under her own name VonDerLeyenRx.com to sell slightly cheaper heavily overpriced drugs from political donors (because we already have cheap access to drugs and universal healthcare) and we didnt shoot any peaceful protestors, or detain any children. The big news is they want Grok to stop making child porn and chatgpt to stop telling children to kill themselves, and for tiktok to stop brainwashing our kids. All egregious horrible things to the US.

  • Its hard to choose, interlingua, esperanto, lingwa de planeta, ido, uropi, lingua franca nova.
Personally I think its better to develop an international sign language.
It’s much easier to learn as you dont need to learn new spellings or alphabets (the sign for “a” can also be greek alpha for instance), or germanic or slavic or latin roots, it is only actions added to your own local word, so literally verbal monoglots can speak to any other monoglot. No matter how thick their accent is.
Plus it would greatly expand the deaf communities international reach, would not exclude the deaf, and I like the idea of children learning an international auxiliary language that can also help the hard of hearing.
And if you’ve ever been in a loud bar or nightclub or restaurant in a foreign country in europe it would make ordering much easier. Obviously unfortunately it does somewhat exclude disabled people with reduced mobility and wouldn’t work on the phone, but we all have videocalls now and we shouldn’t be on the phone while driving anyway. Also it’s quite fun. I’ve started in French Sign Language (Elix app on ios app store) and am pushing to have lessons for my colleagues as we work in medical training and I think its nuts its not offered let alone encouraged or compulsory.

So I say we should develop Euro Sign Language.

I mean we all use the middle finger already, lets expand on that.
