    I’m so happy that more people are finally catching onto this. Something being funny does not magically make it better; in fact it’s often worse because it reinforces normative viewpoints.

      Meanwhile most autists have been aware of this since they got to roughly middle school age, and have just long since given up hope of neurotypicals ever broadly figuring this out, as well as gave up hope they’d ever stop being bullied as kill-joys for pointing this out.

      But, nontheless, hey, good that more people may be catching on?

        Middle school was agonizing for this. Constantly being told I’m a stuck up prude for not getting really cruel and unjust jokes.

        I need to go lay down and process this for a bit.
