The confluence of lingering cost pressures and advancing technology appears to be translating into a boom in smaller businesses’ deploying AI-designed graphics and logos.
Maybe they also suck at taking photos, but if I see food (or anything else) advertised with a slop image, there’s a 0.00% chance I’m buying it. It just reeks of dishonesty and laziness, plus I hate ai. With no image, I might actually buy it. I’ve actually ordered food from many a text-only menu.
I don’t hate AI, but I’m also not buying that food. I’ll assume that there’s a chance they’ve never actually made that menu item before opening their restaurant if AI art is the beta they’ve got.
