Weather’s dull, right??
It’s currently 72 degrees with a high of only 82 in the middle of July. Humidity is a comfortable 76%. Sun is shining, not a cloud in the sky, I don’t foresee having to run the A/C at all today, and my house’s PV system has been getting a great charge all morning.
This sure beats the 99 degree days with 99% humidity and heavy clouds last week.
My only complaint is I don’t have today off work.

Related question: I want to install a pergola. Code says an accessory structure needs 3 ft setback from house. If it’s attached to house then there’s no setback.
What counts as attached? Can I just build it adjacent and put some straps on it and call it attached?
I’d imagine if you’re digging new footers or not.
If you’re not laying a foundation is it a structure?
If you are, I’d wager that’s what counts as attached vs not.
Your local code should be available online. if you have questions you should also be able to call the code office and ask.
