- Has the Catholic church or any mainstream religion suffered any consequences for decades of horrible behavior?

- Bernie Madoff is famous for being punished for running a pyramid scheme, but that was only because he ripped off the wealthy. Same with Enron, they screwed over people in power.

Maybe once he’s impeached or his term is over, however, he’ll have so much influence still I doubt any adverse outcomes will come to him, unfortunately…
