That only means something if someone is going to enforce it. When someone has a monopoly on violence. How do you enforce that against the person with the Monopoly?
The legislature and the Judiciary have effectively bowed down to Emperor Trump. Giving up any power they may have had . While many of them may not particularly like him. They find him more useful to their own ends. And nothing is going to change until their perception changes. Maybe the coming war on Iran will do that. Maybe not. The echo chamber is pretty thick now. It was appealed. The appeals court put a temporary stay on the order that would return control to the governor. The appeals court hasn’t ruled yet, as far as I know. They may be waiting because there is another hearing Friday with the original Judge.
