Gathering followers is an extremely important skill in the wastelands. This kid will be a great asset to the Black Skull Clan.

Of course, of course. Anyone who fails The Blackening will never be a member of the Black Skull Clan. They will instead become tomorrow’s feast. So it is written. (Or, at least, the few among us who can read say that’s what is written.)

The ability to gain popularity is an underrated skill imo. I feel like we could accomplish so much more as a society if there were good humans using their influence to unite people to build instead of destroy.

I feel like I have a somewhat better idea how to improve the world compared to those in power but I lack any kinda charisma afaik

Charisma is an asset, and as such it is traded. If you ever go into politics you will notice that it is a marketplace as any other.

Let me try. So if someone is good at football, they will do good at football, does not matter if they have good values, if they are nice or if they are charitable.

Same in politics, if someone is charismatic, they will do good in politics, being ‘a good human’ is not part of the equation to advance in politics.

There are other skills involved in politics, but none of them is being a good human, sometimes a good a desirable skill is being perceived as a good human, but this skill has little overlap with being a good human.

Let me know if I managed to make my point.

I think I understand. That is why political parties try to get charismatic people to join them. Charismatic person will be able to trade that charisma for positions which translate to money and power. Thank you.
