Don’t get me wrong, cars are a shitty necessity to have, but they are a necessity in some places. If you want to argue that society should change so this isn’t true, I’m right there with you, but it’s not the reality of now.

Jobs, social activities, entertainment, groceries, non-emergency medical care.
Don’t get me wrong, cars are a shitty necessity to have, but they are a necessity in some places.
