It’s a sign of desperation, brought on by the administration being too stupid to actually asses the risks of their participation in Israel’s fuckups.
That “sign of desperation” is pretty hurtful to the whole Ukrainian cause though.
Trump has become very hurtful to the Ukraine cause. Why would he change now, it’s obvious where his interests lie.
