That’s why first circumnavigation of the world was tricky. To get from Philippines back to Europe Spaniards had to navigate around Africa without stopping in any Portuguese controlled ports. Many died. Out of 234 only 18 finished the journey.
I actually didn’t know that not being able to stop at Portuguese ports was part of the circumnavigation’s difficulty!
There’s a pretty good show covering the conquest of America and the first circumnavigation: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt7555582/ The nice thing about it is that it’s not trying to justify anything. It shows that a special kind of bastards thrived during the conquest and made it all possible.

Trump threatened to invade Greenland… several times… a few months ago.
By the Treaty of Tordesillas, signed 1494 AD, though, all of the Americas are split between Spain and Portugal… and Greenland falls behind the PORTUGEUSE line!
By the same logic Spain can bring back the Spanish Inquisition on the evangelicals infested America, which is on the Spanish side.
“Let them fight”
Ahh. Thanks for the context!
