So the countries we export animal feed cornmeal and ethanol to are really gonna be sad. They will have to get that shit from one of the many other countries that want to be primary suppliers of the massive amounts inedible corn we turn into a few burgers.

It drives me crazy people don’t want farmers to be given aid. We already get so much of our food abroad and thats only going to get worse. Farm gate values are absolutely trash and any smaller than large scale industrial farm is hurting bad. Wanting domestic farmers and agriculture to fail is the epitome of cutting off your nose to spite your face. You want a food economy completely dependant on foreign import? Good luck when we have the most trade hostile president in history.
