Kilmar Abrego Garcia has been released from immigration detention, his attorney Simon Sandoval-Moshenberg told ABC News.
His release came after a federal judge on Thursday ordered Abrego Garcia released from detention.
U.S. District Judge Paula Xinis said in her order that “since Abrego Garcia’s wrongful detention in El Salvador, he has been re-detained, again without lawful authority.”
Wait, this guy was some kinda sooper-dooper narcoterrorist from a cartel, but they released him?
What happened?
Turns out he had no oil
I’m actually pleasantly surprised to find out he’s still alive and there wasn’t some mysterious hand waving to cover up his “misplacement”
Hopefully he can get amnesty in another country, like Canada or New Zealand. Because this administration will continue to relentlessly go after the poor guy.
That is a politically tough move. The the one, but I can see the geopolitical drama it would cause.
