President Donald Trump is angry that Rep. Henry Cuellar plans to run for reelection as a Democrat rather than switch parties after the president pardoned the Texas congressman and his wife in a federal bribery and conspiracy case.
And the Democratic party has no opinion on whether or not to allow a convicted felon to run as one of them? Is there no way to separate themselves from his corruption, or are they just fine with it as long as he’s on their team?
Why would he care? Cuellar basically votes whatever way Republicans want as is.
Yeah, but if he wants him reelected, it helps if he makes it sound like he is still a “loyal democrat”. As opposed to a “loyal democrat”.
