NPR reviews games now?
Their reviews aren’t frequent. This is more of a “we ask around the org for what everyone liked this year.” It’s a consistently good list year after year.
That’s a surprisingly deep list.
It saddens me that Sektori came out too late to be on these lists, because they are effective marketing for indies and it’s one of the finest games ever made. It works flawlessly, is Linux friendly and is polished to a shine. It’s very opinionated design, but the opinions are in my opinion all correct and the overall game is a wonderful sequel to Geometry Wars. The only thing it’s missing right now is 2-player (at least) coop.
Didn’t bother going further as soon as I saw “Interactive list” 😮💨
I mean it’s just filters so you can get a more relevant list for yourself. The PC-only filter was useful for me.
Really nice list and well laid out too. Currently downloading the demo for Revenge of the Savage Planet from it :) (and have now bought it. Such a fun game!)
