Jeep guy also has rubber ducks glued to his dash. Dozens of them. For reasons?

Ducking is a fairly sacred community thing among Jeep owners, most specifically with Wranglers and now Gladiators. Ducks are always gifted as a random act of kindness, so a Jeep with a lot of ducks suggests that person has been rather active in the community.

Or they’re like my neighbor, whose dash was completely covered a day or two after he got his Jeep. Plus handprint stickers on his mirrors, which I guess is another Jeepstagram trend?

As a Gearhead, I find this so dumb. I don’t want people to leave trash on my vehicle, and I don’t want my dash cluttered with toys.

Normally, a driver won’t want anything on the dash. Specially colourful stuff because it would cause reflections on the wind-shield.

I can’t tell if this is real or not.

Its real. In the mercedes community (S class or better) we use dildos for the same purpose.

This is so interesting. A friend of mine drives a Tesla and apparently with Teslas it’s bricks.

It is. Jeep people give ducks to each other. It’s weird.

Idk I think that sounds kinda nice, it’s rewarding positive behavior instead of being a dickhead so I think it’s cool.

And apparently it just started recently during the pandemic?

EDIT: not sure why I was down voted, but yes this phenomenon started in 2020 like I thought:

Comic Strips is a community for those who love comic stories.

The rules are simple:

  • The post can be a single image, an image gallery, or a link to a specific comic hosted on another site (the author’s website, for instance).
  • The comic must be a complete story.
  • If it is an external link, it must be to a specific story, not to the root of the site.
  • You may post comics from others or your own.
  • If you are posting a comic of your own, a maximum of one per week is allowed (I know, your comics are great, but this rule helps avoid spam).
  • The comic can be in any language, but if it’s not in English, OP must include an English translation in the post’s ‘body’ field (note: you don’t need to select a specific language when posting a comic).
  • Politeness.
  • AI-generated comics aren’t allowed.
  • Adult content is not allowed. This community aims to be fun for people of all ages.
