The Federal Aviation Administration’s unprecedented order to scale back flights nationwide because of the record-long government shutdown is set to take effect Friday morning.

The 40 airports selected by the FAA span more than two dozen states and include hubs such as Atlanta, Dallas, Denver, Los Angeles and Charlotte, North Carolina, according to the order.

In some metropolitan areas, including New York, Houston, Chicago and Washington, multiple airports will be impacted, while the ripple effects could reach smaller airports as well.

If you are maga, and upset about your travel being canceled, just take solace in knowing that trump is getting his big beautiful ballroom. The skyrocketing price of groceries is nothing to worry about because Musk just got a trillion dollar compensation package. Being furloughed or fired is fine, as long as those filthy immigrants are gettin’ bagged and booted, ammiright?

As it becomes increasingly difficult to travel, or eat, or get healthcare, just rejoice in that you live in the greatest country in the world.

Maybe this will finally get those privileged boomers that voted the annoying orange in off their asses. Although I also think a lot of them probably don’t get many visitors anymore since they’re so extremely Maga…

Somehow, people are still flying… which boggles my mind. They’re seeing what’s happening. There was that plane crash that happened not that long ago. Also the collision with the military flying thing not that long ago either. People are still choosing to fly knowing of the current situation. Make it make sense to me.

Womp womp. My partner and I are in the process of a cross country move (out of Texas! Woo hoo!) and we’re supposed to fly back next week to finally pack up our stuff and get the house ready to rent out. It’s been sitting on the market for 5 months and hemorrhaging money now that we’re gone, so we’re finally throwing in the towel and accepting that we’re going to have a long-term financial tie to Texas.
