Whenever the cats that have been in my life are doing dangerous stuff like that I hiss at them and chase them off. It’s very effective at getting them to stop trying to kill themselves and it doesn’t seem to upset them longterm

“This dude is stupid, doesn’t understand what I’m doing.”

The vibe I get is “watch out you fucking idiot, I’m trying to be in danger”
