Games@lemmy.world•Tech Otakus Save The World – Robotics;Notes Elite – ReviewEnglish
2·1 month agoThanks for the read - i am a huge SciADV fan (i’ve read all the VNs i can get my hands on!)
Despite the difference in storytelling from many of the games in the series, i really became attached to the characters in Robotics;Notes and found myself engrossed in their lives and individual histories. Only criticism i can give is that you really need a guide to progress the story.
Despite all this, i’ve heard such bad things about Robotics;Notes DaSH that i’ve been scared away from reading it so i never got around to it. Part of me was worried that after the highs of Robotics;Notes, DaSH might leave a bad taste in my mouth!

Games@lemmy.world•The Anatomy of an Impossible Port: Bringing Dead Cells to the R36SEnglish
2·2 months agoI really enjoyed this article and own a R36s myself which is used almost exclusively for portmaster. The variety of games available is mind blowing - I recall someone mentioning on a YT comment that their R36s has taken the place of a steam deck for them and even though that seems hard to believe, its the case for me as well. Nearly all my portable gaming I do is on my R36s playing a portmaster title. The compact form factor and cost of entry really can’t be beat.

I agree with this take, was playing Gravity Circuit via GameNative on my Pixel 9 and my GameSir G8 Galileo. I am portably gaming with OLED and Hall Effect and it felt fantastic. If you primarily play lower spec indie games, its a no-brainer as far as i am concerned.
