The US considers that no foreigner is entitled to passage in the country unless the government wills it. They’ve been milking this concept pretty much recently. But a US citizen can have as many memes they want on politicians and are allowed to enter and leave freely.

Woah, this is going to be a good one! Will be interesting to see the British mental gymnastics this time around.

Anyone know much about the efficacy of the flu part of it?
A full cohort study would have to be made to attest to that. But guessing from the efficacies of the corona vax, probably not a drastic difference.
is this the revolutionary flu shot that takes us out of the yearly flu vaccine rat race or not that far yet?
Not a chance. As the flu virus mutates every so often, new vaccines will have to be made to adapt to the current epidemiology. It is a circular race.

Russians staying classy, as always.

…so what exactly has been accomplished during the 4 week war, then?

The EU is giving Ukraine another lifeline to fight on. But with whose men, though?

The levels of corruption there effectively means you have to pay to get decent service.

Younger generations aren’t even into drinking. It’s trying to solve a problem that doesn’t exist.

What enforcement? Anyone born after 2008 would be at most 17. Not sure about British law, but assuming majority is at 18, they weren’t supposed to smoke anyway. It creates no black market that doesn’t already exist.

Their country, their law. The best way to force them to change is to not give them your business.

No, that’s from science and engineers and public works.
We have scientists, engineers, and city planners too in America, despite what anyone says. But we don’t have the draconian enforcement that these places have.

So having weapons somewhere seemingly justifies targeting UAE civilian infrastructure to you.
When the Iranians struck refineries and the Dubai airport, I doubt they did it because they thought there was a weapon hidden there. This is simply punishment on the UAE for aligning itself with America. When they hurt the economy of the UAE, this eventually leads to hurting the American economy.
I’m not saying that this is justified, but it is what they’re doing.

When will the Americans learn that their “greatest ally” doesn’t actually share their interests?

That’s about as nuclear of an option as they can threaten in terms of geoeconomics
It’s no small threat, but you have to keep in mind that the UAE doesn’t produce that much oil to begin with. If they did go ahead with it, little consequences would be felt immediately. If they can convince Saudi to do the same, however…
Don’t think you’ll meet much resistance on this website…
