I assume its more of it subscribes to your newsletter same as a user would, so when you send out the newsletter to “group 1”, the google thing is also on that mailing list.
And yes, should absolutely be opt-in, per mailing list, per email.
So this is another headline designed to get a kneejerk reaction outta people.
Basically if I’m a store that sends out a weekly email to subscribers, Google will “read” that email for SEO purposes.
Or when the characters forget about their bag full of revive potions as they watch their beloved companions die. It’s not like the potions are rare or unique, every store in the world sells them, even your car sells them in FF15.
The enemies clearly know about them too, how else would you explain the unlimited supply soldiers and monsters we use to grind levels?

Everyone saying you can’t have Graphene and google store apps as a daily driver must have given up day one or had some important app that they needed. I’m about 10 months in now.
Graphene sandboxes all the apps, including google services. Yes, it’d be ideal to ditch google all together but reality makes that not feasible for a lot of people. Which is why graphene went through the effort to makes google services work.
You do have to download Google Services Graphenes own mini “app store”. gmail 2FA works, play store/and restoring purchases works, Android Auto works, push notifications work.
It is true, some apps do not work on graphene. Mostly banking apps with extra security. There is a compatibility mode you can set for the app that reduces Graphene’s restrictions on the app. Sometimes that works.
So in short, yes the meme is true. We are still locked into google one way or another, but at least we don’t have to let them and other apps steal all our data.
The absurd test was mostly for the spectacle/views. Sometimes science is doing wacky things because we’re curious to find the limits.

The storage prices are insane. It’s over 9 thousand to get the model with 512GB RAM, and it still only has 1TB of probably non removable internal storage.
2TB is +$400 4TB is +$1000 8TB is +$2200 16TB + $4600
They’re saying 8TB is worth more than the entire base model Mac Studio at 2k.
For those prices I expect a RAID 5 or 6 system built in, god knows they have the processor for it.
