I’ll chime in to say that I’m an Australian and on the flipside I don’t know anyone with an actual credit card (not debit). So yeah you’re also making a sweeping generalisation.
Also none of my debit cards work around the steam requirements, it depends on which bank you’re with.
If you have trouble sleeping but don’t have an obvious medical causes for it, I highly recommend simply abstaining from caffeine entirely (sub for decaf) and try reading for an hour before bed, no phone usage. It’s miraculous how much of a difference it makes. I still sometimes have caffeine as a treat on the weekends, but only before noon.

That is a good point, they’ve crammed ai slop into everything yet they can’t even fix something basic as image search.
Don’t give them any ideas, I really wouldn’t be surprised at a boomer choosing to entomb themselves with their wealth rather than passing it on.
If I had to guess 90% of people these days can barely figure out how to torrent, at best they could figure out how to get to online streaming sites.
Eventually something will have to give when companies continually get fucked in the ass by breaches and downtime caused by vibe code piling up. We’re already starting to see the cracks.
