It sounds like the kind of fantasy that would make sense to them, blinded by their ferocious greed, without realizing that such a tax arrangement would come with strict rules about what constitutes a tip.

HitlerPig is using an archaic, rarely used, ancient law to justify the worst sort of authoritarian behavior (denied due process), so why not use actual contrmporary laws that are enforced every day, and for which ANY other person would be charged for?

The Right is always screaming about State’s Rights, but they never consider how the swords they deploy against their enemies have two edges, and can be turned against themselves as well. Building an opposition strategy around State’s Rights, and using alliances between Blue states to stand up against MAGA is one way to consolidate and focus resistance.

Apparently the entire thing started when Tom Cotton’s office received a letter with a Denmark government letterhead, from a Danish politician who claimed he represented Greenland separatist group, and that there was the support among the Greenland population to secede from Denmark, and align with the US. They were asking for money to fund a referendum for their secession.

The Danish Security and Intelligence Service ultimately concluded in 2022 that the 2019 letter was forged, with Russia the likely culprit. An intelligence report from Denmark assessed that Moscow wanted to sow discord between Denmark, the U.S. and Greenland.

It turns out that the letterhead was phony, there is no such politician, and there is no viable Greenland separatist movement beyond the usual barstool government critics.

So Cotton was easily conned, and took it to HitlerPig, who was just as easily conned, and fully adopted the idea. Now they are still pursuing it, despite knowing it was a forgery.

Basically, its just more MAGA stupidity, driven by Putin.

Whats to buy? Its simple: If The MuskRat has been bribing people for their votes, and it violates state laws, that state can choose to arrest him, prosecute him, and imprison him, and there is nothing HitlerPig can do about it. He can pardon for federal crimes, but not state crimes.

The problem is that there are lot of major tipping points lining up, and everybody is waiting for one to finally tip. Maybe it will be the arrest of The MuskRat, maybe it will be the Luigi trial/verdict, maybe it will be the first American citizen that gets designated as a terrorist and shipped to El Salvador without due process, maybe it will be the cancellation of SS payments, maybe it will be a violent government reaction to a protest, etc.

Denmark has a movement to buy California from America. As an American citizen, I fully endorse this concept.

A state will never get HitlerPig, he’s got SCOTUS immunity superpowers, but that immunity doesn’t extend to anyone else. If one of his henchmen has broken state laws, throw the state book at them.

My prediction:

MAGA can’t lose the slim majorities in both Houses, or control of investigatory committees will fall into the hands of Democrats, as well as legislative control. Protests will continue to grow around the nation, driven by citizen anger over multiple issues. By next summer the protests will be huge, and HitlerPig will encourage his RedHats to instigate violence. They heeded his call before, and he pardoned them, and made them political martyrs within their cause. They will respond again.

Now he can call the protests violent, and send in the authorities to quell the violence with more extreme violence. That will allow him to declare Martial Law and suspend the upcoming elections until peace is restored, and since he controls the peace, that will never happen. Any further demonstrations will be met with deadly violence, and any organizers will be disappeared to the 30,000 person facility currently being built in Guantanamo, outside of the view of the media or the toothless courts.

States are different from Federal. If a blue state incarcerates a MAGA leader, there’s nothing HitlerPig can do to get them loose, short of military force.

When Peter Navarro was in court for his treason, he would attempt to address the reporters every day, so he could beg for money. Every day, there was a woman who stood behind him, yellling or blowing a whistle whenever he talked, and holding up signs.

He’s a short little dick, and she was tall, so he tried to yank a sign out of her hands, but she just held it up out of his reach, and said “Havent you committed enough crime today?”

Fucking HILARIOUS, and all in front of the media. The most effective strategy was blowing the whistle as he tried to talk, because it totally drowned him out. Most days he just walked away in frustration.
