I disagree with the premise. I have frequent discussions irl about how shit AI is and how damaging it has been to society. Perhaps you just aren’t talking to the right people?

No but on a more serious note, why are people who are this unsafe with guns allowed to be gun owners in the US? It’s okay though because next time a good guy with a gun will be there to kill the dog before it kills someone.
Spelt is also correct. Its the same as Learn -> Learnt, Burn -> Burnt, Dream -> Dreamt, Build -> Built, Keep -> Kept or Feel -> Felt. I’m assuming you’re a North American? It’s been replaced by spelled in American English
