All I was saying is that the fascist will retribute cruel, unreasonably and disproportionately.
Maybe there’s some phrase I misused, English is not my mother tongue, but I still feel that your facetious comment misses my point completely.
Again, I don’t see how you get there? I did not say anything like that? I did not say to take the high road, I did not say that the fascists would leave you alone? I said that fascists disproportionately will escalate violence in reaction, I did not qualify that one way or the other.
I am just reminding, that there will be a price to pay, and that it will be expensive and that it is not fun or glorious to be in that position.
Well, I this specific case they actually didn’t… Martial law was declared from May 27th 1942 (the day of the assassination) until July 3rd 1942. So 37 days after the assassination the martial law over Czech was lifted again so there is a pretty clear connection as retribution to the assassination.
