I used to know a developer who wrote all his code in Notepad. This was around 2005 or 6. We had just starting to replace our legacy ASP code with ASP.Net, which he was determined to do in Notepad. I was gone before I could see how that worked out.

Just checking back after 3 months… it’s nice to see improvement. There’s still some sociopolitical crap, and one item about reddit’s stock tanking - how TF is that even tech-adjacent? But overall lots more threads about actual technology than last time I took a hard look. Nice!

If I ever asked that motherfucker anything I would be hoping there was no answer.
