I think people are waiting for a chance to make an actual difference in acting. They’re waiting for leaders to come along, so throwing your life away is not the only option to do something, where you could be a part of something that is working towards a greater goal, all legally should go without saying we have a right to defend ourselves from unlawful attacks.

That ignores the fact that the government leans on these people behind the scenes. So it is a thinly veiled end run around government censorship, as we have seen with social media, Homeland Security giving lists of names for them to ban for other reasons.
Plus if successful at turning us from our allies based on misplaced motivation, they would just lie about those motivations more to us. Then lie to the other side about our own motivations for stuff we agree with them on.

We needed a candidate that could win, and despite being that, both pritzker and Newsom decided not to run, because it was not their turn presumably.

Now their weak acts would not be enough to overcome the efforts to fix those elections even if they had the guts to stand up and take it if they do not.

Why are the leaders in opposition to the Republicans all fucking cunts? That’s a good question, what is not in question is that pritzker is one of said cunts in question. No challenge for house leadership, senate leadership, not the presidency, not even with a universally unpopular candidate that never breached 30% approval offering zero reform running as the status quo in 2024.
It is even more frustrating to watch as an american. But without leadership there is little to do and we are completely bereft of it. Our opposition politicians are less than worthless and we have no one bringing a strategy to enlist us in. Which is all by design, the Democrats’ main job as they see it is quashing any sort of popular reform. Winning elections is secondary if that.
