So, it doesn’t make sense that Trump is acknowledging this as much as he is. If he were to drop it, it would go away and his supporters would fall in line.

Which leads me to believe this is all a red herring to hide something that is actually going on. What are we missing by focusing on this?

You’re probably right. It just seems like when things are noticeably bad, they are usually subtly worse.

He IS trying to drop it, but no one wants to hear his pleading to let it dissappear. He is not even acknowledging his election promise about the whole thing.

      • “Why are you still taking about epstein? This creep”
      • “There is no client list, Bondi is doing a great job”
      • “All people asking for the full epstein files are bad people. The case is done, it is over”
      • Pam Bondi should release the files if (I decide) they are credible"

      And perhaps soon:

      • “Everyone asking for the epstein files is evil and something should be done about that”
      • “There never was an epstein in prison, we don’t have files on him”

I find it quite interesting he’s calling anyone wanting the (promised!) truth bad people now.
And will bulldoze them on the Bad People Pile he invented that includes Biden, Obama, Clinton, his rape and abuse victims, the students he scammed with his academy, the IRS, the scientists at the National Weather Service, the World Health Organization, the CDC, the FED and it’s director, The many members of the various intelligence agencies, the judges who didn’t give in to his wishes, and just about everyone who won a court case against him.
      They are all bad people.
