Vladimir Putin has revived a controversial narrative, claiming that theoretically “all of Ukraine is ours.” He also sparked more immediate concerns with comments about seizing Ukraine’s city of Sumy.
Vladimir Putin has declared that Russians and Ukrainians are “one people” and that, in that sense, “all of Ukraine is ours.”
The assertion underscores Moscow’s continued underlying rejection of Ukrainian sovereignty and raises renewed alarm over Russia’s territorial ambitions.
Speaking at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum on Friday, Putin issued a series of provocative remarks, notably stating: “We have a saying… where the foot of a Russian soldier steps, that is ours.”
If he really believes the two countries should be united, he could always decide to surrender to Ukraine and give Ukraine control over Russia. I’m sure Ukraine would do a better job of governing Russia than Putin has done.
He looks like he’s wearing his skin as a mask. Like a Roboputin.
I want to take his face… off.
I eagerly await the day I read the headline we’re all waiting for.
Honestly, there’s multiple headlines we’re all waiting for.
An obituary?
That’s one way to say denazification was bullshit
I thought it was because of Nazis. Or because of NATO. Or because of <insert bullshit here>.
Not because of <insert imperialism here>.
He just really needs those ship docks.
I’m just wondering when is this POS is going to die.
Well I’m standing on the planet so the world is mine.
“We have a saying… where the foot of a Russian soldier steps, that is ours.”
So, Putin is saying everyone should fire upon Russian forces everywhere outside Russia with no hesitation or questions asked?
all your base are belong to us.
Lane says all of Russia belong to Australia.
What now poots?
Like with “3-day special military operation” when Putin speaks it’s all foot.
Sure, but is it really yours if you can’t control it?

From the Wikipedia article on Russia’s playbook: “Foundations of Geopolitics”
Ukraine (except Western Ukraine) should be annexed by Russia because “Ukraine as a state has no geopolitical meaning, no particular cultural import or universal significance, no geographic uniqueness, no ethnic exclusiveness, its certain territorial ambitions represents an enormous danger for all of Eurasia and, without resolving the Ukrainian problem, it is in general senseless to speak about continental politics”. Ukraine should not be allowed to remain independent, unless it is cordon sanitaire, which would be inadmissible according to Western political standards. As mentioned, Western Ukraine (comprising the regions of Volynia, Galicia, and Transcarpathia), considering its Catholic-majority population, are permitted to form an independent federation of Western Ukraine but should not be under Atlanticist control.
