I would recommend watching his Channel 5 interview, but after recommending it to someone I know, who came away from it saying “Shia is so funny and likable”, I’m not so sure anymore. The guy is clearly unwell and a danger to himself and the people around him. At least he seems aware of it and is honest about it, but he’s looking for help in all the wrong places (Jesus). He’s likely going to get a lighter sentence than most due to understanding and admitting to his wrongdoing, not just because he’s a celebrity.
