Indonesia was definitely strongly influenced by India. The first states in Java were supported by priests and monks of Indian religions, and they called their kings “Maharaja”. The island has famous buddhist temples.

Indonesia is just India without ones. Logically, they just don’t have that number anywhere in the country.
