Isn’t that the whole point though? They’re going to die anyways so the method by which they die is irrelevant. It certainly has nothing to do with any decision that I may make.
From a moral point of view nothing has changed, death has occurred but it was always going to occur.

It has. Something unpleasant that could arguably be a necessary evil, became a source of pleasure for disturbed individuals.
