    Late iterations of British WW2 AI (Airbourne Intercept) Radar did feature automatic target lock, projecting the target onto the windscreen/reflector gun sight, and automatically setting the sight’s range, so night fighter pilots could actually aim and shoot by Radar. Crazy shit, of course they would be making up cover stories about carrots to keep that kind of technology secret.
