US F-35 downs Iran drone as IRGC boats target tanker near Hormuz

The US military accused Iran of "unnecessary aggression" after shooting down an Iranian drone near the USS Abraham Lincoln in the Arabian Sea and IRGC vessels approached a US-flagged oil tanker in the Strait of Hormuz in run-ins ahead of US-Iran talks later this week.

This could be the start of direct involvement in Iran. We’ll see…

    It won’t. If I understand correctly what the IRGC sent is basically a probe to assess how serious the threat is. And well now they know that indeed that US fleet is armed and willing to use it.

    Make no mistake it’s no deescalation. Also has anyone located that bunker buster?
